Delegation of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Madrid
From August 28 to September 1, 2025, Madrid hosted the European Society of Cardiology Congress (ESC Congress 2025), one of the world’s largest and most influential gatherings in cardiovascular medicine. Representing Uzbekistan, a delegation from the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation, led by the Center’s Director, Professor B.A. Alyavi, actively participated in the event. The delegation also included Dr. J.K. Uzokov, Head of the Rehabilitation Laboratory and Principal Investigator of the International Grant, along with Research Fellow Sh.K. Muminov.
During the congress, Professor Alyavi held high-level meetings with distinguished professors and leaders of medical organizations from across the globe, discussing opportunities to strengthen collaboration and initiate new memoranda of understanding. Another notable highlight was the contribution of Dr. Uzokov, who delivered two scientific presentations that drew considerable interest from the international cardiology community.
The Center’s participation in this prestigious forum underscored Uzbekistan’s growing role in global cardiovascular science, while also promoting knowledge exchange and paving the way for future advancements in cardiology and medical rehabilitation.
